Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how BijliBachao.pk collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website or get in touch with us — and the choices and rights you have over it.
1. Introduction
BijliBachao.pk ("BijliBachao", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit bijlibachao.pk or contact us, how we use it, the legal bases we rely on, and the choices and rights you have.
We built this site to be privacy-first: we do not run sign-up or lead-capture forms, and non-essential cookies stay off until you allow them. By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or share your information with us.
2. Information we collect
We collect only two kinds of information:
- Information you choose to send us — the website has no forms. If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, or email, you may share your name, phone number, email address, business name, location, and details about your energy requirements. We receive only what you decide to send.
- Information collected automatically (analytics) — if you consent, standard analytics data is collected, such as device and browser type, approximate region (from a truncated IP address), pages viewed, referring page, and on-page interactions. This is used only in aggregate to understand and improve the site. Without your consent, only privacy-friendly, aggregated measurement runs (see “Cookies and tracking technologies” below).
3. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, grouped into clear categories. On your first visit a consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or set each category individually. Strictly-necessary cookies are always on; every other category is off until you opt in.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer. We also honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal — if your browser sends it, marketing cookies remain off automatically. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so your choice is passed to Google before any analytics or advertising tag is allowed to act.
4. Cookie categories
The categories you control in the banner are:
- Strictly necessary — required for the site to work (security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice). These carry no tracking and are always on.
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights, used to measure traffic and performance. IP addresses are anonymised and data is kept for at most 14 months. Off until you opt in (except the privacy-friendly, cookieless aggregate measurement noted above).
- Marketing — reserved for future Google advertising and remarketing measurement. We do not currently run advertising cookies; this category stays off unless you opt in, and is suppressed automatically if GPC is detected.
5. Analytics providers we use
Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — website analytics, loaded only within Consent Mode v2 with IP anonymisation. Google’s handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and its Google Analytics data-processing terms.
Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.) — privacy-friendly, aggregated traffic and performance measurement that does not use cross-site tracking cookies.
These providers act as our processors and may process data on servers outside your country (see “International data transfers”).
6. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide quotations, proposals, demos, and site visits;
- deliver, maintain, and support our services — solar installations, AMC, Solar Performance Cloud (SPC), and WattEY;
- measure and improve our website, content, and overall experience (only with your consent);
- communicate with you about your request or our services; and
- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
7. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU/UK GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on these legal bases:
- Consent — for analytics and marketing cookies, and any optional communications. You may withdraw consent at any time (via “Cookie settings”) without affecting prior processing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); Art. 7(3)).
- Legitimate interests — for strictly-necessary cookies, keeping the site secure, and responding to enquiries you initiate (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to meet legal, tax, or regulatory requirements (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)).
8. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We may share it only in these limited circumstances:
- with the service providers (processors) that help us run the site and business — for example hosting (Vercel) and analytics (Google) — under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing obligations;
- with communication platforms you choose to use to reach us (for example WhatsApp / Meta), which are governed by their own privacy policies; and
- with authorities or third parties where required by law, or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.
9. International data transfers
Our business is operated from Pakistan. Some of our providers (such as Google and Vercel) may process data on servers in other countries, including outside your own. Where required, such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. By using the site or contacting us, you understand your information may be processed in these locations.
10. Data retention
We keep information you send us only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, provide our services, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Analytics data is retained for at most 14 months and then automatically deleted.
11. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, including HTTPS across the whole site. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below; we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of its “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell or share personal information, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out.
13. Third-party links and services
When you contact us via WhatsApp or follow links to third-party websites (such as social media or manufacturer pages), those services operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
14. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of our website after changes are posted means you accept the updated policy.
